Buyers don’t fall in love with what a home could be.

Why I Created
The Home Seller's Edge

I've been fascinated by homes for as long as I can remember.I formally studied interior design, renovated and sold my own homes, worked in real estate, and spent years helping friends and family prepare their homes for sale. What I've learned is that buyers rarely fall in love with a house because of a new tap or a fresh coat of paint. They fall in love with how a home makes them feel.I've always believed a great home should feel welcoming the moment you walk through the door. Not necessarily designer-perfect, but warm, inviting, and somewhere people can instantly picture themselves living. The best homes don't just look good. They feel good.
They wrap you in a hug the moment you cross the threshold.Emotion sells houses. And a buyer who loves your home will do whatever it takes to secure it.That understanding of buyer psychology, presentation, and property has shaped everything I created inside The Home Seller's Edge, because I kept seeing people make the same costly mistakes...Nobody had shown them what buyers actually respond to.
One complete home-selling resource.

Why It's So Hard To See Your Own Home Clearly
Have you ever had a relative visit after several years and immediately comment on how much your child has grown? You know they've grown, of course you do.But because you've seen them every day, the changes were gradual. You stopped noticing.
The same thing happens with our homes. We just don't notice the overflowing bookshelf, the outside light that stopped working 2 years ago, the dark hallway, the garden ornaments, or the furniture that's making a room feel smaller than it is.Buyers see them instantly.
That's why many homeowners accidentally leave money on the table.Because they're just too close to it.
"Module 4 was the standout for me. I live in a small, older home with an open floor plan and I’ve always been unsure how to make it feel both spacious and intentional. The space-by-space ideas and examples gave me heaps of clarity and confidence around how to stage and design my spaces." - F. S.

No one will ever care about your sale price as much as you – not even an agent
A friend of mine changed agents after months on the market. They’d already purchased and were keen to sell. The new agent immediately suggested dropping the price by another $80,000.The property eventually sold well below its original appraisal.Later they discovered the buyers had been encouraged to offer lower. One of the biggest lessons I learned in real estate is that nobody will care about your equity as much as you do.

Meet Siubhan - Former Real Estate Agent and Interior Designer
Most kids spent their weekends hanging with friends. I spent mine trawling open homes. We called it Sunday Driving, cruising the streets in our little Datsun 120Y.At the time, part of me wished I was doing anything else. But looking back, I realise those weekends sparked my love affair with houses and design.

By age seven, I was poring over Home & Garden, clipping coupons, and waiting eagerly for the big white envelope with my name on it that held the latest furniture catalogue. Mum was forever sketching house plans; Dad was forever sighing, knowing his wallpapering days weren’t over. They built ten houses and bought and sold many more.I learnt a lot.Houses are in my blood. They led me into a career in real estate, then into interior design. It explains why HGTV is my favourite TV channel, and why I’ll happily spend hours talking paint samples, storage solutions, or moving furniture around. When I sold my first home, I accepted an offer before it had even officially hit the market — and walked away with more than double what I’d paid five years earlier. And most of all, it’s why I love helping people prepare their homes for sale.
